The Outpost

Formerly commercial office spaces, this 1991 building in a prime downtown Crested Butte location has been thoroughly reimagined as a luxury lodge with three unique suites. A vaulted gable addition on the south end of the building provides an upscale gathering space and bar area for guests to lounge, play games and share drinks and tales of adventure.

The exterior maintains its timeless mountain town appeal with cedar siding, timber details and a standing seam roof. An expanded west-facing deck brings guests to private entrances while also providing an outdoor living space to enjoy the late afternoon sun or stage your gear. The building received a complete energy update, including photovoltaic solar panels, insulation upgrades, and the most efficient lighting and mechanical systems available. EV chargers were included in the renovation as well. Air conditioning was seamlessly integrated into the redesign, and special attention was given to soundproofing, ensuring each suite remains a peaceful haven.

More attractive and efficient than ever, this building will now graciously receive guests for many years to come.
